RealTrends' annual rankings programs showcase the top-performing real estate brokerages, teams, and agents in the country. The RealTrends 500 and Nation's Best brokerage rankings programs are submissions based and require that brokerages provide production information for verification and ranking. To qualify for ranking, firms must have closed 500 transaction sides in the previous calendar year. Only residential real estate transactions are considered (single-family homes and condos). Commercial, referral, land, lot, lease, multi-family, or rental transactions are not counted toward the RealTrends thresholds for rankings. If a firm represents the buyer and seller on a transaction, that firm is able to double-count both the transaction and volume (sales price) toward its totals (via RealTrends).
