Breweries Around Mobile and Baldwin County | Bellator Real Estate & Development

Have you joined the craft beer revolution? Summer is the perfect time to explore these great craft breweries around Mobile and Baldwin County recommended by our real estate agents.

  1. Braided River Brewing Company - 420 Saint Louis St., Mobile, AL 36602
The name of Braided River Brewing Company is a tribute to the impressive natural features surrounding Mobile homes for sale. "Braided River" refers to the waterways around the Mobile-Tensaw River Delta. Check out their innovative flavors, such as Hoppy by Nature, with notes of mango, pineapple, and grapefruit. Taproom hours are 3:30 - 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 2:30 - 10 p.m. Friday, noon - 10 p.m. Saturday, and noon - 7 p.m. Sunday.

  2. Iron Hand Brewing - 206 State St., Mobile, AL 36603
Founded in early 2016, Iron Hand Brewing holds the distinction of being the oldest brewery in Mobile. The name was inspired by Henri De Tonti, chief lieutenant under French explorer La Salle, who sported a metal prosthetic he received after his hand was maimed by a hand grenade in a wartime incident. Iron Hand specializes in British-style ales that complement the menu of bangers and mash, shepherd's pie, and other classic pub favorites. Hours are 4 - 9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, 11 a.m. - 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Sunday.

  3. Oyster City Brewing Company - 600 Government St., Mobile, AL 36602
When Oyster City Brewing Company wanted to branch out from its Florida roots, Mobile was tops on the list of locations. The owners of Oyster City began their craft beer journey with a homemade backyard brewery. After lots of trial and error, they were ready to go public with beers such as the award-winning Mangrove, a classic pale ale brewed with mangoes. Oyster City is open 2 - 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, noon - 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and noon - 9 p.m. Sunday.

  4. Fairhope Brewing Company - 914 Nichols Ave., Fairhope, AL 36532
In 2012, Michelle and Brian Kane enlisted some friends to help them fill the craft beer void near Fairhope homes for sale. A decade later, Fairhope Brewing Company has grown from a modest two-beer operation to offer more than a dozen beers on tap. The tables, chairs, and bar were all made by local craftspeople. Hours are 1 - 8 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, 1 - 10 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, and 1 - 6 p.m. Sunday.

  5. Big Beach Brewing Company - 300 E. 24th Ave., Gulf Shores, AL 36542
Jim and Julie Shamburger realized that their idyllic community around Gulf Shores homes for sale was lacking only one thing: craft beer. And so Big Beach Brewing Company was born, with its spacious open-air taproom to capture pleasant coastal breezes. The beach theme is carried through with beer names such as Yacht Rocker and Shores Light. Big Beach is open noon - 10 p.m. daily except Friday and Saturday, when closing time is 11 p.m.
