Don't Miss These Fall 2024 Events Around the Alabama Gulf Coast | Bellator

Activities on the Alabama Gulf Coast don't slow down just because the calendar changes to fall. Our expert real estate advisors eagerly anticipate these exciting events taking place around Mobile and Baldwin County.

  • Dauphin Street Beer Festival
    Raise a pint in celebration as the Dauphin Street Beer Festival enters its second quarter-century. During this popular event, 14 bars and restaurants in the LoDa district, only minutes from downtown Mobile homes for sale, will showcase a selection of 56 top craft beers from around the country. All venues are within blocks of each other, making it easy to walk from one location to the next. Mark your calendar for 6 - 9 p.m. on Saturday, 10/5. Tickets for the 21-and-up event are $35, and each one includes a commemorative mug. 

  • Orange Beach Freedom Fest - The Wharf, 23101 Canal Road, Orange Beach, AL 36561
    Enjoy a car show, tasty food and drinks, live music, and other all-American activities at the Orange Beach Freedom Fest. The main event at this family-friendly festival is Bama Coast Cruisin', a 14-mile parade of classic cars proceeding down the beach highway near Orange Beach homes for sale. Live music is scheduled for the Orange Beach Performing Arts Center on Friday and the Wharf Amphitheater on Saturday. Arts & crafts, food vendors, and Kids' Zone will be on site all weekend. Be sure to register for the door prizes and 50/50 drawing. The festival takes place 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. on 10/4 and 10/5. Admission is free, but visit the website to reserve your parking space.

  • Alabama Coastal BirdFest - 5 Rivers Delta Resource Center, 30945 Five Rivers Blvd., Spanish Fort, AL 36527
    Birds of a feather do indeed flock together at the Alabama Coastal BirdFest. South Alabama is recognized as one of the top bird-watching sites in the nation, particularly during fall migration. During the weekend of 10/4-10/6, knowledgeable guides and instructors will be conducting boat, bus, and walking tours along with educational workshops. 5 Rivers Delta Resource Center, not far from Spanish Fort homes for sale, hosts a free, family-friendly Bird & Nature Expo on Saturday from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. Tour and workshop prices range from $15-$180.   • Annual National Shrimp Festival - 101 Gulf Shores Parkway, Gulf Shores, AL 36542
    Everyone's favorite crustacean is in plentiful supply at the Annual National Shrimp Festival, held just down the street from Gulf Shores homes for sale for more than 50 years. As if shrimp alone wasn't enough, there will also be gourmet burgers, crab cakes, fish tacos, and a wide range of other delicious foods. Take a break from eating to shop the Fine Arts and Arts & Crafts areas or burn off those calories in the Saturday morning 5K/10K run. In addition to Children's Activity Village, kids can have fun with the whole family in the Sand Sculpture Contest. Festival dates are 10/10 through 10/13. Hours are 10 a.m. - 10 p.m. daily except Sunday, when closing time is 5 p.m., and admission is free.

  • Mobile Latin Fest - Mardi Gras Park, 163 Government St., Mobile, AL 36602
    Observe Hispanic Heritage Month and celebrate local cultural diversity at Mobile Latin Fest. Attractions include food and beverage vendors, arts & crafts booths, live music, and folk dancing. The event also serves as a fundraiser to provide scholarships for local Hispanic students. Mobile Latin Fest takes place from noon - 9 p.m. on Saturday, 10/12, and admission is free.
